Perth to Exmouth, Monkey Mia & Return

Who needs to visit Kakadu, when you can be swimming at amazing waterholes, learning about local First Nations Peoples with an incredible aboriginal cultural experience, and taking a ‘morning cruise’ with saltwater crocs and birdlife, in their natural habitat? Itinerary

Day 1: Perth to Kalbarri

Stop At: Nambung National Park, 200 Km North of Perth Midwest Region, Cervantes, Western Australia 6511 Australia
Meet your group early this morning and leave the city, driving north to Nambung National Park to explore The Pinnacles. These are ancient rock sculptures that rise out of the desert
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Port Gregory Beach, 65 Kms South of Kalbarri Via George Grey Drive, Kalbarri, Western Australia 6536 Australia
Journey on through Geraldton to Western Australia’s own Pink Lake at Port Gregory. From here continue on to the quiet beach town of Kalbarri, where you’ll stay the night.

Day 2: Kalbarri National Park to Shark Bay

Stop At: Kalbarri National Park, 150 km N of Geraldton, Kalbarri, Western Australia Australia
Hike around some of the park’s diverse scenery, including the amazing Kalbarri Skywalk, Murchison Gorges and Nature’s Window. It’s a steep descent into Z-Bend Gorge.
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Shell Beach, Via Shark Bay Road, Denham, Western Australia 6537 Australia
After lunch visit the beautiful Shell Beach, which is one of only two beaches in the world composed entirely of shells.

Day 3: Monkey Mia to Northbrook Farm

Stop At: Monkey Mia Reserve, 1 Monkey Mia Rd Shark Bay area, Gascoyne Region, Monkey Mia, Western Australia 6537 Australia
This morning head down to the beach for the Monkey Mia dolphins experience. The idyllic shores around the Francoise Peron National Park are perfect to stretch the legs and admire another slice of Western Australian coastline.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Hamelin Pool, Hamelin Pool, Western Australia
The next stop is Hamelin Pool where you’ll see the fascinating stromatolites, these marine rock formations are some of the world’s oldest and largest living fossils.
Duration: 30 minutes

Day 4: Northbrook to Perth

Stop At: Geraldton WA, Australia
We leave our Farmstay to head to Geraldton, visit the HMAS Sydney memorial lookout and learn about the colourful history of this area, see the St Francis Xavier Cathedral and Point Moore Lighthouse.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Greenough Wildlife & Bird Park, 449 Company Rd, Greenough, Geraldton, Western Australia 6532 Australia
Slowly meandering back to Perth, we stop to visit Greenough Wildlife and Bird Park. A wildlife sanctuary promoting conservation and animal rescue; get up close to dingoes, emus, orphan kangaroo joeys, saltwater crocodiles, handle lizards and even snakes.
