An exciting introduction to the world of cocktails, providing a practical foundation in the mechanics of mixology and cocktail preparation at work and home. You learn methods of cocktail preparation building a drink, stirring, shaking, layering, muddling, straining, smashing…oh and drinking. You will prepare and make a range of classic and contemporary cocktails including: Collins, Margaritas, Daiquiris, Caipirinhas, Sours, Mojitos, Martinis and much more.

This is South Africa's most popular cocktail experience for a reason. It is a fresh take on what a Saturday afternoon should look like with your partner or pals. You will learn methods of cocktail preparation like shaking, straining, smashing…oh and drinking! You will make a range of classic and contemporary cocktails including Collins, Margaritas, Daiquiris, Caipirinhas, Sours, Mojitos, Martinis, and much more.

Sample Menu

• Caipirinha - This is a traditional cocktail from Brazil, also known as ‘Peasant’s Drink’.The Caipirinha contains a whole lime, sugar and spirit.
• Negroni - It is believed that it was Count Camillo Negroni who asked the bartender at the Casoni bar in Florence in 1919 for a splash of gin in his Americano.
• Mojito - In the 17th century Admiral Drake of the British Navy offered sailors a mixture of mint & rum to eliminate stomach & respiratory problems.
