The mosque is also known as Siniggala, for the name of its minaret – Siniggala (“damaged tower”).It is the first building in Azerbaijan, which is related to Islam and dated for its architectural ligature.

Juma mosque (Friday Mosque) was built in the 16th century, approximately 25 m height, balcony with differently ornamented parapet panels, decoration with stalactites, among them inscription in "Kufi" writing ornaments. The most ancient component of the mosque today is its minaret, the construction of which historians date to the first half of the 15th century.

Bukhara Caravanserai in Baku, located in Icheri Sheher dates back to the 15th century. Bukhara Caravanserai was primarily used by traders from Central Asia and India. Housed in an elegant building not far from the Shirvanshahs’ Palace in the Old City of Baku, the Museum of Miniature Books stores around 8,000 tiny printed publications from 76 different countries. Here you’ll see beautifully designed books of the most different genres and themes that are as small as a matchbox or postage stamp. Moreover,the collection contains the world’s smallest book, measuring 2x2mm, whose text and illustrations can only be seen with the help of a magnifying glass! The museum, which entered the Guinness Book of Records as the largest collection of miniature books in the world, has long been a popular place among tourists and the only museum of miniature books in the world opened its doors on April 2, 2002.It’s open every day except Mondays and Thursdays from 11am to 5pm. and entrance is free!
