Private American full Dday tour in Normandy

Follow me for the day in the steps of the American soldiers, the brave, from June 5, 1944 to June 6 1944!

We will follow the historical and chronological itinerary of the American DDAY : you will discover the history of heroic soldiers, the memory of fighting in a land of sacrifice. During your tour you will be walking on concrete, gravel paths, on sand on grass and you will be in Normandy!!

As a historian of the Second World War, as a person from this land, born in Normandy, I will give you the opportunity to live a unique experience at the meeting of the most famous squares but also less famous places and yet marked by the sacrifice of the heroes of 1944. We will share some questions about the memory of the DDAY.

Stop At: La Fiere Bridge and Iron Mike Monument, 13 Moulin a la Fiere, 50480 Sainte-Mere-Eglise France

Visit of the site, of the monunent iron Mike and the bridge on the river le merderet, a place to be !

Stop At: La Batterie d'Azeville (Azeville gun battery), La rue d'Azeville, 50310 Azeville France

We will stop outside of the german battery to understand how the paratroopers did the job !

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Saint-Marcouf, Saint-Marcouf, Manche, Basse-Normandie, Normandy

We will stop in front of the battery to undestand how the paratroopers did the job to take that position.

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Utah Beach, 50480 Sainte-Marie-du-Mont France

Visit of the german fortifications, of the beach and the differents monuments on Utah Beach, lunch time

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Pointe du Hoc, 14450 Cricqueville-en-Bessin France

Visit of the german battery and the site where the rangers did that job, to take that site, that cliff !

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Omaha Beach, Avenue de la Liberation, Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer France

Visit of the german fortifications, visit of the Us monuments and the american temporary cemetery number 1.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Cimetiere Americain de Colleville-sur-Mer, 14710 Colleville-sur-Mer France

Visit of the US visitor center and the US Cemetery to see some graves.
