Private Olive Oil and Wine Tasting from Golan and Galilee

Grapevines and olive trees are the traditional agricultural crops for this area and were used by man as food for religious rituals and to light the houses in the dark. Today we will see how they were produced in the past and today, we will taste local olive oil and quality wine from the Golan and the Galilee

Wine and olive oil have been used by man since ancient times. Today we will see how they lived in the villages in this area hundreds of years ago, how they produced the oil. We will taste olive oil and fine wine from the Golan. drive towards the Golan Heights. On our way we will enjoy the views of the Galilee, the hills and the green mountains and after about 1 hour and a half we will arrive at Mount Bental for a breathtaking view of the Golan Heights and towards the border with Syria We will continue to the ancient city of Katzrin, a Jewish agricultural village from the Roman/Byzantine period We will see the village houses, the ancient synagogue and the agricultural facilities (about hour). Then on to Olea Essence, a modern olive oil production facility where we will hear about the olive oil production process and taste the types of quality olive oil as well as cosmetics (30 minutes). Next stop will be a winery, Bazelet Hagolan where we will learn about the wine production process and taste some excellent wine. We will continue our way towards the Carmel Mountains to the Tulip Winery located in Kfar Tikva. There we will taste some exquisite wines
