Time Travelers Walking Tour of York

We are a fun costume engaging walking tour of York. It is great fun and the time travellers have a good time as they find out about York's fascinating history.

The Time Traveller is not alone on his journey. Not one but two actors immerse you in this engaging fascinating tour. It is an exciting entertaining history tour, like a pantomine for all ages.

The Time Traveller encounters different characters who give a first-hand account of ordinary life from that period. Plays and artefacts help illuminate the key events in York's history.

The time travellers are divided into two teams and tokens are awarded to the time travellers and the winning team captain gets a unique prize. We do tours for groups of up to 20 and we can do tours by arrangement at other times.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: York Castle Museum, Tower St, York YO1 9RY, UK

The Time Traveller will meet you at the steps of the Norman castle at 11am everyday

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Coppergate Shopping Center, 12 Coppergate Walk, York YO1 9NT England

Travellers will be taken back in time to Viking York

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Shambles, York YO1, UK

The time travellers will walk through a beautifully preserved Medieval street

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: York Minster, Minster Yard Deangate, York YO1 7HH England

The time travellers will find out about Roman York and the how the history of York is the history of one of the most splendid gothic cathedrals in Europe.
