Chena River Bar Float Adventure!

Our adventure Begins at pioneer park where we'll paddle into the Chena river to take in some sun, scenery, and talk a little about Fairbanks Alaska! We'll go on to float through forest, town, and a few river front homes as we work our way downstream. our first stop will be at the riverfront boatel bar to relax and grab a drink if desired. we'll then get back on the river as we float through the west side of town. Here the Chena opens up with plenty of fingers and "islands" to explore. We’ll also float past the iconic steam powered riverboat discovery! We'll end out trip at The Historic Pump House bar and grill where we can grab a drink and eat dinner on their riverfront deck overlooking the chena river!

The boatel is our first stop on the trip. Sit out on the deck overlooking the river and Fairbanks while enjoying a pint!

Our whole experience will be on the Chena river, which flows through the middle of Fairbanks

pioneer park is a 44 acre historical park created in 1967 to celebrate the centennial anniversary of the purchase of Alaska from the Russian empire. we certainly recommend returning on foot to explore more of it than we will see from the river!

Stop At: The Pump House Restaurant Fairbanks, 796 Chena Pump Rd, Fairbanks, AK 99709, USA

the pump house is a beautiful and historic Fairbanks establishment. Great food, great drinks and great views from their river front deck make it a destination all its own. Dinner is by reservation so if you'd like one just let us know in advance and we'll be happy to set it up!
