Monkey Kayak Tour Tamarindo, Guanacaste

The Tamarindo Estuary is a great opportunity to visit the different biomes that Guanacaste has to offer through Kayaking. During the tour, you will experience the coast, mangrove and forest biome, giving you the opportunity to enjoy different sides of Guanacaste.

You will be able to appreciate and enjoy the vast flora and fauna that we can find during the trip since this is one of the great attractions of the tour.

Our main attraction will be looking for the Howler Monkey group since it is one of the most loved animals in Guancaste during a short walking session through the forest trails.

Itinerary

We will prepare ourselves to go on a Kayaking trip in the Tamarindo Estuary Surrounded by Mangrove trees to visit the Howler Monkey territory.

We will start with an explanation about the details of the activity. We will also explain how to use the kayak and paddles correctly. After this we will discuss the safety rules and warnings during the journey.

Next, we will proceed with the training lesson and start with the basics in paddling. Once we get comfortable with the basics we will proceed to move forward in the adventure.

During the journey we will paddle into the estuary and expect to encounter local fauna during the trip.

The journey will have different stops to appreciate the mangrove environment and we will also do stops if we encounter a local animal in the path.

The final activity in the trip will be a short walk through nature to look for the Howler Monkey group. We will search for them through forest trails in their living area.

After this we will enjoy a snack before returning to the starting the point.
