Stop At: Cromwell, Cromwell, Central Otago, Otago Region, South Island

Surrounded by the Dunstan, Pisa and the Old Woman mountain ranges and Mt Difficulty herself, Cromwell lies in the heart of the 45th parallel. The fruit basket of Central Otago producing some of the best grapes in the region!

Discover historic Bannockburn with its rich history in gold mining. Due to the hot summer days with little rain, Bannockburn produces Internationally renowned boutique wines not to be missed!

In pre European times, the region of Bendigo was used by the Maori as a camping site for the long journey between summers in Wanaka hunting and fishing to the West Coast in winter to collect Pounamu Greenstone. Now it is a thriving wine region with spectacular Pinot Noir!
