We start the journey by picking you up at your hotel or Airbnb. After a 40-minute drive through worlds longest and deepest underwater tunnel and scenic views of Jørpeland, we'll arrive at the trailhead. Here, your guide will share insights about the trail and expected conditions.

After approximately 2.5 hours of hiking we will reach the majestic Pulpit Rock cliff. 604 meters above the sea you will get a majestic view of Lysefjorden.

Itinerary

Stop At: Stavanger, Stavanger, Stavanger Municipality, Rogaland, Western Norway

We start the pickup at the set starting time and usually pick up everyone within 20 minutes after the set starting time.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Ryfast Tunnel, 4085 Hundvåg, Norway

We will be driving through worlds longest and deepest undersea tunnel all the way from Stavanger to Jørpeland, where we will continue our journey to the basecamp of Preikestolen/Pulpit Rock. We will drive through the same tunnel both ways.

Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Preikestolen Fjellstue, Preikestolvegen 521, 4105 Jørpeland, Norway

We arrive at the parking by the basecamp and we get ready to start the hike. We make sure we have the necessities with us and we use the toilet facilities before heading off to the trail.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Pulpit Rock, 4129 Norway

Get ready for beautiful scenery and wild nature on the trail to the famous Preikestolen/Pulpit Rock! On the top itself it´s time to pause and enjoy this incredible place. Here you can also eat some lunch or use your time wandering around.

Duration: 5 hours
