Learn to Master an Elevated 4 Course Meal with a Master Chef

Learn while laughing in one of the most gorgeous settings in the Mojave Desert with one of the most entertaining personalities on FOX's MasterChef TV Series. We hope you carry the knowledge and cook with and for your friends and family.

Your experience includes hands-on instruction on making four dishes (appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert) and an herbal mocktail.
Students may choose an optional herbal infusion, including a conversation on responsible dosing, infusion options, and medication interactions. After class, we will dine and enjoy each other's company in one of the most beautiful settings in the Joshua Tree area.


Learn how to execute an elevated four-course breakfast, lunch, or dinner with instructors Chef Stephen Lee (MasterChef) and Barbie Sommars (Herbal Educator) at your place or ours. All ingredients are farm-sourced and organic. We work with our clients to create the perfect menu for them. GF, V, VG, and allergen-free customizations are accommodated.

Sample Menu

• Dinner Starter: Burrata with Grapefruit (play with fire) - Grapefruit brûlée, coriander seeds, microgreens, and lavender oil. Students get to use fire for this course! Many other recipes are available.
• Farmer's Market Vegetables - Vegetables selected fresh from the farmer's market
deliciously prepared

• Farmer's Salad - Farmers Salad
with market greens, tomatoes, cucumbers and grated pecorino cheese ~ house made citrus vinaigrette ~

• Handmade Pappardelle or Fettuccine Pasta - Learn to make Handmade Pasta
with succulent butter sage sauce
tossed with handmade pasta

• Braised Beef Short Ribs or Braised Eggplant - Braised Beef Short Ribs or Eggplant
with aromatic vegetables and porcini mushrooms
served over hand-made pasta

• Dinner: Crispy Vietnamese Rolls (from Vietnamese menu) - Learn how to roll and perfectly deep-fry Crispy Vietnamese rolls with chicken, mushrooms, and glass noodles

• JASMINe Tea Leaf Salad (Sample from Vietnamese menu) - Napa, savoy & purple cabbage roasted peanuts, toasted sunflower & sesame seeds, dry tea leaves, Thai basil, cilantro, mint, scallions, tea leaf dress

• Breakfast Main: Flaky Crust Quiche - Flaky crust quiche with farmers market spinach and feta cheese (vegan and gf option)
