Half Day Sights and Tastes Tour in Napier

We will take you on a tour with fun and laughter whilst showing you a large area of our region. we cover over 100 km in our minivan to show you the highlights of the region. This tour can be done in 3 hours but also can take a little longer depending on the time the traveler has.
We provide a driver guide and they give a comprehensive dialogue along the way. This tour can be made into a private tour with a little extra fee added. With the sightseeing done first and tasting experiences after, this tour provides ampul opportunities for photos and purchasing of local products during our stops.

our experienced guide will show you around the wonderful statues and explain how to navigate with the stars

Stop At: Tukituki River, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand

we drive through the bountiful TukiTuki valley and stop for photo opportunities along the way see the animals' grazing and lush farmland whilst our experienced guide points out the best features including orchards and vineyards

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Te Mata Peak, Tuki Tuki 4294, New Zealand

we will drive right to the top of this great feature in the landscape 399 meters above sea-level and you get to take your photos from the top of this very steep landmark our guide will point out the features of the landscape that can be seen from this panoramic views above Hawes bay

Stop At: Arataki Honey Visitor Centre, 66 Arataki Road, Havelock North 4157 New Zealand

our guide will take you through this tasting experience and see the live bees in their hives that have a window that enables the visitor to look right into the hive and see the bees working up close also a great opportunity to purchase local products and honey

Stop At: Telegraph Hill Olivery, 1279 Howard Street, Hastings 4122 New Zealand

we take you to this boutique Olivary to taste the fine products they produce and enable you to purchase the products if you wish or just hug an olive tree

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Te Mata Figs, 205 Napier Road, Havelock North 4180 New Zealand

we take you to this great Figgery and cafe to taste the fig produces produced here and if you wish to purchase from their cafe coffee or ice-cream or even a snake to help through the rest of the tour

Stop At: Oak Road, Akina, Hastings 4122, New Zealand

we will visit the Historic Oak Avenue that was planted in 1874 by J.D.Ormond as a drive-way to his house, we will stop for photo opportunity's and our guide will explain the significance of this historic road

Duration: 15 minutes

after we leave the oak road we will stop and look back to the TeMata peak and glimpse the giant laying down on the mountain and our guide will recount the legend that is TeMata Peak

Duration: 10 minutes

We drive through the Art deco Capital of the world and our guide talks about the Earthquake that created the unique area that is Napier and discusses the architecture
