Varden Molde Panorama Hike Tour

After a 15-minute drive, we'll arrive at the starting point of our three-hour, beautiful hike along the local Varden mountain. Starting from the parking lot, a mostly flat forest path will lead us uphill for about 20 minutes to the ski hut, marking the highest point of our tour. From there, enjoy a breathtaking view of the fjord landscape and the surrounding mountain peaks. It will take approximately 1 hour to reach the Varden Viewpoint. The trail, uneven and adorned with stones and roots, presents no significant elevation gain but meanders along a high plateau. Upon reaching the Varden viewpoint, a spectacular panorama unfolds over Molde, the Romsdal Alps, and the fjord landscape. Our hike now descends through a charming forest landscape and concludes at the cruise terminal in the town center. There, you can find cafes, souvenir boutiques, and more, offering the perfect opportunity for refreshments or to pick up a souvenir or two from Molde.

We pass by Molde Cathedral which is build in 1957. It's the 4th Church at the same place.
