The tour starts at the Kabuki Theatre after meeting at the Higashi Ginza station, which is beside the Kabuki theatre. We will talk about the history of Kabuki play which was created in the 17th century. The traditional Kabuki-za architectural style will be a stunning sight to behold!

We will walk through the narrow alleys of the market. We will see many kinds of seafood, vegetables, pickles, dry foods and more. Many of them are unique to the Japanese. As we walk along with the shops, we will talk about Japanese food culture. We will get some of the snacks and freshest sushi from the market then we will enjoy several kinds of sake! We will talk about how the sake is being made and enjoy sake and sushi.

The tour ends at the Namiyoke Inari Shrine. After the great fire in the Edo period, land reclamation work was carried out to build a new market on this site, but the construction was difficult due to rough waves. One evening, a shining object of worship was discovered floating on the surface of the sea. In 1659, a shrine was built to enshrine the object of worship. After the shrine was built, the rough seas subsided and the reclamation work proceeded smoothly. Namiyoke Shrine is revered by people who pray for warding off evil, warding off evil, prosperous business, and safe construction. Good luck to all of you!
