Stop At: Cathedral of Evora (Se Catedral de Evora), Largo do Marques de Marialva Centro Histórico, Evora 7000-809 Portugal
It is the largest medieval cathedral in Portugal and has no parallel in the rest of the country. All in granite, it is marked by the transition from the Romanesque style to the Gothic style.

The Chapel of the Bones is one of the most well-known monuments of Évora, we can say maybe its ex-libris, and it is located in Place 1st of May. It is part of the not less known Church of San Francisco.

Is one of the grandest and best preserved Roman temples of the whole Iberian Peninsula, having been considered World Heritage by UNESCO in 1986.

Giraldo Square is an icon paying tribute to Fearless Geraldo Geraldes, the man who conquered Evora from the Moors in 1167.

Day 2: Évora, Beja, Portimão, Silves & Lagos Day Trip

Take breakfast at the hotel and start your trip to the Algarve through Beja

Beja where the highest tower in any Portuguese medieval castle dominates the town and the region. Crossing the low mountain range, we enter the Algarve.

Stop At: Silves, Silves, Faro District, Algarve
The renowned town dominated by its red sandstone castle dating back mainly to Moorish times and by the memories of its former cork industry. You will have time to stop and visit the village of Silves and the Castle of the city.

Pass By: Portimao, Portimao, Faro District, Algarve
We continue onto the golden sands of the Algarve passing Praia da Rocha en route to Lagos.

Stop At: Lagos, Lagos, Faro District, Algarve
In Lagos everything seems to invite to the beach and the simple pleasures. But there is also a history of sailors and pirates, the result of a complicity with the sea that persists in the colorful trawlers that bring the fish to the fish auction, or in the Marina where yachts from all over the world rock.
You will have the opportunity to explore this beautiful city and free time to enjoy all the view and places.

Stop At: Sagres, Sagres, Faro District, Algarve
Sagres displays some of the most impressive landscapes in the Algarve. The force of nature is so strong at the southwestern tip of continental Europe that visitors soon realize why the ancient settlers dubbed it “sacred,” because it was the starting point of Portuguese explorers in the fifteenth century into the unknown and how managed to maintain its fascinating natural beauty.

Stop At: Sagres Fortress, Sagres 8650-360 Portugal
Classified as a National Monument, the original fortress of Infante D. Henrique, dating from the 15th century, was destroyed during Sir Francis Drake's raids on the southern coasts of Spain and Portugal during the 16th century, and was rebuilt during the 16th to 18th centuries.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Cape Saint Vincent, Cape Saint Vincent, Faro District, Algarve
Fortress built in the 16th century to protect the coast from frequent attacks by Moorish pirates. It appeared in the place where was a medieval convent, which according to legend would have welcomed the remains of St. Vincent.
It is a military construction of polygonal plan with an entrance portal surmounted by royal shield and had drawbridge.
Inside the fortress is the São Vicente lighthouse, built in 1904 and still in operation today.

Day 4: Lagos, Setúbal, Serra da Arrábida & Lisbon

Start your trip to return to Lisbon, after your breakfast at the hotel.

Pass By: Setubal, Setubal, Setubal District, Alentejo
Setubal is a city that has always had a close connection to the seas, and this is celebrated along the newly rejuvenated waterfront, which encompasses the colourful fishing harbour, the popular urban park and the Troia Peninsula ferry terminal. Within the charming historic centre is a maze of narrow alleys, hidden plazas, and family-owned shops, along with Portugal’s largest fish market.

Stop At: Serra da Arrábida, 2925 São Lourenço, Portugal
Then comes a scenic route over the Arrábida Mountain Range, an area preserved as a Natural Park, with amazing scenery and unique vegetation at the gates of Lisbon and incorporating sweeping views of the Tróia Peninsula.
