The Volcanoe rute: Quito, Riobamba, Cuenca + Train ride

This is a magnific route through ecuatorian Andes, which will offer you inspiring and hypnotic landscapes along this route.
On the second day, you will take the train towards the so praised route Alausi-Sibambe-Alausi, we will visit the worldwide known Evil´s Nouse (Nariz del Diablo).
We will continue our adventure at Ingapirca Ruins, the most important precolombin archeological site in Ecuador.
We will end our tour visiting the wonderful city of Cuenca, one of the charmest cities in the country, formed by stoned streets, antique cathedrals and a lot of history.

Itinerary

Day 1: Quito - Cotopaxi - Riobamba

Stop At: Cotopaxi National Park, Ecuador
Departure early in the morning, on the way we will observe the beautiful landscape of the Andean volcanoes. We will visit briefly the Cotopaxi National Park.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Riobamba, Riobamba, Chimborazo Province
Our tour continues in Riobamba city, where you will lodge in a traditional Hacienda.

Duration: 8 hours

Day 2: Alausi - Sibambe (Nariz del Diablo train ride) - Ingapirca Ruins - Cuenca

Stop At: La Nariz del Diablo, Q44C+GR7, Sibambe, Ecuador
After breakfast, we will go to the train station in Alausi, to take the Devil's Nose route, a unique engineering work embedded in the Ecuadorian Andes.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Ingapirca Archaeological Complex, Ingapirca Ecuador
In the afternoon we will move to Cañar province, where we will visit the largest Inca archaeological complex in Ecuador. Finally, we will go to Cuenca city so that you can use of the hotel facilities

Day 3: Cuenca - Quito

Stop At: Cuenca, Cuenca, Azuay Province
After breakfast, we take a city tour in Cuenca. In the afternoon we will transfer you to the airport so you can take your flight back to Quito.
