2-Day Colca Valley Tour with optional transfer to Puno

The Colca Valley is an area of astounding beauty with big Andean platforms and a deep canyon with a depth of 3140 meters.

This 2-day journey to the Colca Canyon will take you to explore one of the deepest canyons in the world. You will admire the amazing Condors' flight and you will have the best views of this incredible valley.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arequipa - Colca Valley

Stop At: Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve, Arequipa Peru
We will depart at 8:30 am from Arequipa, driving 160 km to Chivay Town.

On the route, we will pass through the towns of Yura, Pampa de Arrieros and Pampa Cañahuas, where the National Reserve of Vicuñas Aguada Blanca is located, and we will admire these beautiful camelids. We will continue the tour passing through small towns with wonderful views of the volcanoes from the viewpoint.
Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: Chivay, Chivay, Colca Canyon, Arequipa Region
We will reach the town of Chivay and here you will have free time for lunch and rest. Then, we will visit the town and market of Chivay.

We will return to your hotel located in Chivay, Yanque or Coporaque, according to your choice.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Day 2: Condor Cross - Arequipa

Stop At: Mirador Cruz del Condor, Cabanaconde Peru
After breakfast very early in the morning, we will start at 06:15 am to go to the famous point "Cruz del Cóndor". We are going to arrive on time to have a pleasant view of the canyon and watch the majestic images of the Condors flight.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Pinchollo, Pinchollo, Arequipa Region
On the way to going back to Chivay, we will visit the traditional town of Pinchollo and the "Antahuilque viewpoint", where you can see wonderful 1,500-year-old terraces built by the Collaguas, a pre Incan culture.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Yanque, Yanque, Colca Canyon, Arequipa Region
We will continue visiting the town of Macca, an Andean community that experienced an earthquake in November 1991, and the town of Yanque with the most beautiful church in the valley.

Arrival to the city of Arequipa and transfer to your hotel.

* If you choose the transfer to Puno, after your visit to the Colca Valley, 320 km will be traveled with beautiful landscapes in the route. We will pass through diverse and small Andean villages, until we reach Puno. We will transfer you to the hotel.
