Expert doughcents will share the history of Chicago pizza as well other interesting tidbits about the neighborhood you're exploring. Learn about the history of the market, the Haymarket Massacre and the founding of May Day.
Some of the styles included on this walking tour includes: deep-dish, Neapolitan, Roman al taglio and Sicilian. Along the way, you'll meet some of the owners and pizza makers, and learn about their history and inspiration for creating their unique pizzas. Our doughcents are trained to discuss Chicago's pizza history, and can talk about highlights from the book, "Pizza City USA."
