Shoebill stock tracking experience at Mabamba

while using a motorized canoe, you will wade through the lush Mabamba thick papyrus swamp, following meandering water channels in search of the shoebill stork. you will spot a number of different water birds which your guide will explain about and the excursion will be crowned with lunch at Nkima lodge where you will spot a variety of butterflies.


Itinerary

Prepare to venture into the papyrus swamp by canoe in pursuit of the elusive and highly coveted shoebill stork. This bird is most commonly observed in the morning while hunting for fish or frogs, though it may also be sighted at any time of day. Keep your eyes peeled and stay alert - success is within reach!
