5 Days/4Nights Safari to Mikumi and Ruaha Parks

This five days package safari to Ruaha and Mikumi Park is a unique package as it will take you to the untouched and less-visited park of Tanzania. You will fill like you are just alone on the bush as you will be most of the time in private with no other people or safari tracks behind you. Itinerary

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi Park

Pass By: Morogoro, Morogoro, Morogoro Region
On your way to Mikumi, you will pass by Morogoro town. Morogoro is one of the most beautiful cities in Tanzania. A nice view of Uluguru Mountain, part of Eastern Arch mountain.

Stop At: Mikumi National Park, Mikumi National Park, Morogoro Region
We will pick you up from an agreed point in Dar es salaam and depart to Mikumi National Park. The drive will take about 6 hours, with a lunch stop at the restaurant in Morogoro Town. After lunch, proceeds with afternoon game drives in the park, home to Elephant, Lion, Wild dog, Zebras, Hyena, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Eland, Hartebeest, Crocodile, Lizard, and other residents. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park.

Day 2: Mikumi Park to Ruaha National Park

Pass By: Iringa Boma - Regional Museum and Cultural Centre, Boma Road, Iringa 0000 Tanzania
On your way to Ruaha, pass by the Iringa Museum, where you will learn about the history of this town. Iringa has an extensive history of the Hehe tribe with their Chief, Mkwawa.

Stop At: Ruaha National Park, Ruaha National Park, Iringa Region
Evening you will find at Ruaha park for a sunset game drive.

Day 3: Full Day Game drive at Ruara National Park

Stop At: Ruaha National Park, Ruaha National Park, Iringa Region
Early morning game drive, Come for hot breakfast. Rest at your terrace with a stunning view of the river. It will allow you to see animals who will come to drink at the river. Evening leaves again for sunset game drive.

Day 4: Walking safari and Night Game Drive at Ruaha Park

Stop At: Ruaha National Park, Ruaha National Park, Iringa Region
Early morning leave for a wilderness walk; this will give you a particularly intimate feel for the African wilds. Walking safaris offer a good chance to see giraffes, zebras, elephants, and good birding. It starts in the morning with the guidance of an armed ranger and takes 2 hours before you come back to your accommodation for a full breakfast.

After dinner left for a night game drive at this park. We do offer the best night game drive with a lot of information from our experienced and knowledgeable guides.

Day 5: Ruaha Park to Dar es Salaam

Stop At: Dar Es Salaam Region, Dar Es Salaam Region
After breakfast, leave the park with the game on route to Dar es salaam. The drive will take about 10 hours, depending on road traffic conditions. You will expect to arrive at Dar es salaam late evening, where the tour will end up at the airport or hotel of your choice.
