      Our instructor, Christophe, was very informative with his instructions throughout and we enjoyed the learning part and a very good meal. I will try a couple of the dishes we made at home, and use the tips he gave us along the way in my everyday cooking.

      Review Le Foddist CulinaryIt was my first Culinary Class at Foddist school taken last wed September 19! It was the best thing I've done in Paris! Chef Frederic is super professional but at the same super fun. He shared a lot of knowledge and experiences. He made us think about the art of cooking, in which feeling and technique go together all the time (recipes are just recipes!). The dishes suggested by him were delicious, easy to make, and possible to vary with other ingredients. As soon as we arrived at the school, we had coffee/tea and we presented ourselves, which was an ice breaker for the day. Then, we visited a local open market where we could see a lot of fresh veggies, fruit and fish, besides cheese, of course. Back to school, we started cooking, and believe it, everybody gave their contribution to the class. I highly recommend this class, in which you will learn about french food, cooking technics, culture, people, among others. It was worthy each penny! It was a joy to meet Fred and all the other participants.

      Absolutely amazing. The chef/ instructors were entertaining, charming and knowledgeable. I've recommended this cooking class to all my friends. Was hands down the best cooking class I have ever done. I still have the recipes and they are my go-to for dinner parties to impress!

      This was a fantastic class. Had a wonderful time at the market and drinking wine and making our cauliflower soup, coq au vin, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots and turnips, and poached pear with chocolate sauce and “homemade” vanilla ice cream. Strongly recommend!!

      I would absolutely recommend this activity which included a visit to the Marché Monge to buy the freshest of ingredients for lunch, a cooking lesson from the wonderful Fréderic and then a delicious three-course meal with wine. Fréderic is an entertaining and very knowledgeable host, and I will definitely take another course at Le Foodist when I am next in Paris.

      I value the skills I learned on this course, like being at chef school. I have loved learning and tasting French cheese during my time in France, and learned even some more from Fred. The cooking class was fun. Fred brought the group together very effectively. Of paramount importance though is that the food was delicious. I have used inspiration from the course several times in my cooking since then already. Thank you Fred.

      We had a very amazing time. Very recommended. We met some great people and shared travel experiences. Fred, the chef, is really amazing and very funny. Definitely recommend with market tour, Fred shows us about the local market and introduce us about French culture. The food were really delicious.

      Well, this is my second class to take here.my daughter and I took the croissant class in July and LOVED it! My friend and I came back to Francwthis fall and this class was a blast! You will be tired in a good way afterward. Go hungry. The food keeps flowing.

      Five of us joined Fred for this three-course lunch class and we could not have imagined having a more wonderful day! I highly recommend including the market visit in your day if you do this class. It is a fun way to start the day and you begin learning from Fred the moment you step in the door of Le Foodist! Fred is friendly, knowledgable and ready to answer any and all of your questions. On the way to the market we stopped at a cheese shop and got a quick primer on the five categories of cheese in France and then continued on to the market so that Fred could buy the things we needed for the dishes we would be cooking. Everyone gets to participate in the preparation of the various dishes and all along the way Fred is sharing information about French food, culture, technique, etc. He's funny too! We had a wonderful day and we couldn't believe how fast the time went. I highly recommend this class and Le Foodist!

      Frederick was our tour guide/instructor for this activity. We opted to take part in the market visit which was well worth the time. Frederick took us to the market explaining the different booths and introduced us to several of the vendors. After explaining the different cheeses, the vendor shared multiple samples that allowed us to taste the evolution from one stage to the next. Our cooking menu had to change slightly due to some of the ingredients not being available at the market. After meeting with the remainder of our class, we cooked a three course meal that was very tasty. The instructions were good and we learned some new techniques. Also, Frederick explained different wines and what to look for. This is definitely a must for anyone interested in this type of class

      We absolutely loved this class. The venue was charming, and so was our host Fredrick. We all had a great time making the dishes and listening to Fredrick's infortaining stories. The market tour was very good but the cooking class and the food we made was the best. The five hours passed quickly and there was never a dull moment.

      I had a lot of fun in this cooking class and learnt some interesting things. Fred and Frederick, our chefs, were very informative and great teachers. They explained everything so we understood and could definitely go home and show off our new skills. There were 13 people at my class, which was split into 2 groups after the market tour. We then made Mussels Marinieres, Coq au Vin and Peach Melba with Vanilla Ice-cream. The kitchens and dining area were well equipped and nicely decorated. Everyone in the class had a great fun time. Thank you.

      This was one of the best experiences I had in Paris. The chef was fun, interesting and knowledgeable! I absolutely loved walking to the open air market. We discovered amazing cheese! The class was also a lot of fun. I met interesting people and learned a few new cooking techniques that will make preparing meals quick and beautiful in presentation. I highly recommend this class for foodies!
